To add a spinning wheel to a stream, load the wheel's overlay URL as a Browser source in OBS. The overlay has a transparent background, so only the wheel shows over your game or camera. Setup takes about 2 minutes.

1. Build the wheel above, then press Share → More embed options. The embed builder opens with your entries.
2. Set the options: Background Transparent, Close result after 5 seconds, and sound on or off.
3. Copy the OBS / streaming overlay URL.
4. Add a Browser source in OBS: click + under Sources, choose Browser and paste the URL into the URL field.
5. Set Width to 600 and Height to 680, the same shape as the large embed. Resize the source on the canvas afterwards.
6. Spin on stream: right-click the source, choose Interact and click SPIN or press Space.

The overlay URL looks like this: /e/?obs=1&bg=transparent&ac=5#w=…. Everything after #w= is your entry list. obs=1 hides the credit line and the text under the wheel.

• Refresh browser when scene becomes active: keep it off. The wheel reloads the same entries from the URL, so a refresh only clears the last result.
• Custom CSS: leave the OBS default. It sets a transparent page background.

How do you make the wheel background transparent in OBS?

The wheel background is transparent in OBS when the overlay URL contains bg=transparent. The OBS overlay URL uses it by default. The bg setting takes 3 values.

How does the result close automatically?

The result closes automatically after the number of seconds set by ac in the overlay URL. The choices are 3, 5 or 10 seconds. The scene clears itself and the wheel is ready for the next spin.

Spin and win sounds play by default. Untick sound in the embed builder, or add mute=1, for a silent overlay under your own music.

Can chat spin the wheel on Twitch or YouTube?

No, chat cannot spin the wheel directly. The wheel has no chat integration and does not connect to Twitch, YouTube or TikTok accounts. The streamer spins it from OBS.

Chat still shapes the wheel. Collect suggestions, type them into the wheel, copy a new overlay URL and paste it into the source properties. Viewers see every spin live, which keeps chat-driven challenges honest.

How do you spin the wheel on TikTok Live?

TikTok LIVE Studio loads web pages through its Link source. Paste the overlay URL into a Link source, like a Browser source in OBS. Streamers who send OBS to TikTok add a normal Browser source.
