Pick a random NBA team by conference or division
The NBA has 30 teams in 2 conferences, the Eastern and Western Conferences, and 6 divisions. The filters let you spin only one conference, one division, or any mix. The count on the button shows how many teams match before you fill the wheel.
Spin a random NBA team and year
Season mode adds a random season between 1980–81 and 2026–27 to every result. The generator only picks seasons when that franchise existed, and it shows the name the team used that year: the Seattle SuperSonics until 2007–08, the Vancouver Grizzlies from 1995–96 to 2000–01, and the New Jersey Nets until 2011–12. Narrow the years with the From and to boxes.
Draft mode: a random NBA team for every player
Draft mode gives each player a different NBA team in one click. Type the players, one per line, and press Give each player a team. No team is used twice. With season mode on, every player also gets a season. Copy the list straight into a group chat.
