The short version
You can use every tool on TrySpinTheWheel without an account. The entries you type and the results you spin are stored only in your own browser (using “local storage”) so they are there when you come back. They are not sent to us.
Information stored in your browser
- Wheel entries, results history and settings (spin time, sound, confetti) are kept in your browser’s local storage.
- You can delete them at any time with the Clear buttons or by clearing your browser’s site data.
Share links
When you press Share, the wheel’s entries are put into the link itself. Anyone you send the link to can see those entries. The link is not stored on our server.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type and the page visited. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are deleted on the host’s normal schedule.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics or ads in future, this page will be updated first and, where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent.
Children
Our tools are suitable for classrooms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
