How to use the random country generator
- All 195 countries start on the wheel: the 193 UN member states plus the 2 observer states, Vatican City and Palestine.
- Untick continents to narrow the list, then press Put … on the wheel.
- Press SPIN. The result shows the country's flag, capital and continent.
Pick a random country by continent
The continent filter splits the world into Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Oceania. Spin only European countries for a holiday idea, or only African countries for a geography lesson.

Is the generator fair?
Yes. Every pick uses your browser's cryptographic random number generator, and every entry on the wheel has the same chance unless you give it a weight. You can test the picker yourself on the live fairness test.
