How to flip a coin online

    1. Press Flip, tap the button, or press Space.
    2. The coin spins and lands on heads or tails. Each side has exactly a 50% chance.
    3. Your heads and tails counts, the current streak and the last 60 flips are shown under the coin.

Heads or tails: best of 3, 5 or 7

Choose Best of to play a short series. The tool keeps score and announces the winner as soon as one side has a majority, for example 2 wins in a best of 3. It's a fairer way to settle a bigger decision than a single toss.

    Flip several coins at once

Choose up to 10 coins to toss them together and see how many land heads. Tossing 3 coins has its own page: flip a coin 3 times.

    Rename heads and tails

Change the labels to the two options you're deciding between, such as "Pizza" and "Tacos" or "Team A" and "Team B". The result and stats use your labels.

    Coin toss odds

A fair coin lands heads 50% of the time. The chance of 3 heads in a row is 12.5% (1 in 8), and 5 in a row is about 3.1% (1 in 32). Long streaks feel unlikely, but in 100 flips a streak of 6 or more is common.
