How to rng 1 to 4

Press Generate and the tool shows a random whole number from 1 to 4. Press it again, or press Space, for another number. Set How many numbers to pick several at once without repeats.

What are the chances for each number?

Every number from 1 to 4 has the same chance: 1 in 4, or 25.0%. 2 of the 4 numbers are odd, so an odd result comes up 50% of the time. Past results never change the next one, so the same number can come up twice in a row.

What can you use a number from 1 to 4 for?

Use it to pick one of four quiz answers (A to D), choose a seat at a table of 4, or decide which of four options to try first. Prefer to watch a wheel spin? Tick Spin on a wheel in the settings.
